PENGENALAN

Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Sdn Bhd menyokong pada keperluan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemahiran kakitangannya serta pekerja dan pengamal lain di dalam sektor kumbahan agar sentiasa efektif dan cekap dalam merancang, mengendalikan dan menyelenggara aset pembetungannya. Oleh itu, ASTRICE ditubuhkan di Pusat Rawatan Kumbahan Wilayah Sg. Besi, Bukit Jalil pada Februari 2006. Pusat latihan ini merupakan lokasi khusus untuk latihan teknikal bagi sistem pembetungan yang memberi tumpuan dan fokus pada teori dan praktikal untuk kakitangan IWK dan pekerja luar (tempatan dan antarabangsa).

Strategi IWK adalah untuk memaju dan mengembangkan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan kecekapan untuk memenuhi tuntutan perniagaan dan industri. Oleh itu, program latihan dan pembangunan merujuk dan memfokuskan pada peningkatan kapasitas dalam bidang hubungan pelanggan, kesihatan dan keselamatan, asas sistem pembentungan bagi teknologi, proses-proses dan kemahiran baru.
